لماذا سُمي التقويم بالتقويم الهجري؟
سُمي التقويم الهجري بهذا الاسم نسبةً إلى التقويم الهجري حدث الهجرة النبوية الذي يُعد نقطة تحول كبيرة في التاريخ الإسلامي. وقد تم اعتماد هذا الحدث كبداية للتقويم في عهد الخليفة Umar ibn al-Khattab لتنظيم المعاملات والأحداث الرسمية بين المسلمين.
