Whenever I sketch urban scenes, I launch into colours and lines with spontaneity. I enjoy a free line, splatters of random colours and odd shapes. This sketch was created during one afternoon when me and my partner and his nephew decided to walk down to the park and bask in the sun for a while. I used a Rotring Ef pen, black non-waterproof ink and Daler Rowney watercolours on my pocket-size watercolour Moleskine.
