While waiting for a delayed flight in Long Beach, CA I decided to kill some time at the newest airport bar. The contrasting colors and shapes between the backsplash, tap handles, and copper mug pyramid were pretty inspiring. The pen and ink sketch was fun, but adding the color later with my assistant (aka youngest daughter) was a special way to include her in my trip, even if she couldn’t fly with me.
