Resist Stripes
I played around with a variation of the Ukrainian Easter egg dye resist process. I first laid down several separate strips of narrow Washi tape, then scraped a thin layer of Liquitex acrylic paint across the page. I repeated this step, progressing from lighter to darker colors, until I was satisfied. After the paint had dried, I peeled off the tape.
My arrangement of the tape strips was random, and all vertical, but I think it would be fun to try different arrangements.
