Give your Moleskine hard cover an edgy look and feel with easy-to-install spikes.

Hack description

1. Position spikes where you like on the front cover. Measure if necessary, or go free form. 2. Determine the spots where the holes will need to be drilled. (The holes are usually at the center of the spikes.) Use an opaque Sharpie to mark these spots. 3. Drill the holes. I used my handy Dremel, but any cordless drill will do. Make sure the holes are just big enough to fit the screws for the spikes, no bigger. Make sure you open the cover and work in such a way that you do not drill through the pages of the notebook. 4. Push the screws through the holes from the back, and screw on the spikes.
