This title “A” is the generic name for statues with an open mouth in Japanese of the syllable of Buddhism.
I affixed the facing page of A3 moleskine sketchbook to the wood panel, and draw with a black pen and india ink.
This work which was painted for the exhibition, it has been described in my blog.
