. Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t have to, it’s not for them. – Joubert Botha. This resonates to me in a way because the past weeks (and still until now) I’m working on big thing in my life in so very short deadline that creeping closer each day. Some days I vent to some colleagues to brainstorm some thing, yes, the burden is a bit lighter knowing that I am not the only one struggling for the same goal. But some of them laugh because they tell me that I have it easy, that I haven’t suffer worse than this. This made me sad a little. I know I didn’t have it worse (of life), but that doesn’t mean I have it easy either. People is having their own different battle, & you should not compare at the first place. Well.. I’m not mad at them, not one bit. Just a little bit discouraged. Because they don’t know me well enough. They don’t know what kind of downs I ever had, so much, that I don’t want to go back to the way it was. And I don’t think they need to know. I appreciate their opinion, it’s just.. I won’t take that as a whole. So I just smile. Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t have to, it’s not for them. I am just glad behind those banters, they still pray and wish the very best will come. That is important; they maybe will never understand my journey but they still wish the best for me. So, plus one for us. So yah, A tiny reminder that if people tell you things, or predict what will happen to you – they are telling their stories. It’s not yours. So whatever that is you’re working on, keep on the hustle / battle. You know, as long as it’s a good battle. – #typography #lettering #quote #moleskine #doodle #vscocam #handlettering

    It can be frustrating when the people closest to you don’t seem to grasp the path you’re on. But this quote helps me reframe that feeling. My journey is mine, and while it’s great to share wins and challenges with loved ones, their understanding isn’t the ultimate college essay writing service goal. It’s about trusting myself, embracing the adventure, and knowing that even if they don’t get the map, they can still be happy for my progress.
