One of the projects that I am using my Moleskine sketchbooks for is my “Book of Memories.” This is a couple of practice pages in which I tried some different writing styles & methods for rendering the illustrations. I decided on a script that resemble my own handwriting. Since I have many pages to fill as I recount events & thoughts through my life I wanted something simple & comfortable. As had did not want to spend hours on each illustration, I decided to keep it simple with line & wash. I want the illustrations to resemble tinted engravings.
