Meet Ale Giorgini and (re)discover his universe
As a self-taught artist, Ale Giorgini drew inspiration from his childhood favorites including Hanna & Barbera cartoons and Miroslav Sasek’s illustrated books for children. At university he studied architecture, which gave him a deeper understanding of shapes, structures and most importantly, perspective.
His style is simple, minimalistic with a unique perspective composed of bright colors and clear, clean lines, where shapes merge together in geometrical harmony.
His unique style has brought him worldwide recognition and has led him to collaborate with renowned clients, as well as garnering an enthusiastic significant global following.
In the spring of 2019 Ale Giorgini started a new project, “Intervallo”, where he drove through Europe for 60 days, camera in hand taking pictures of landscapes and landmarks. He then enriched the photos with his distinctive drawings to create entirely original images and giving a new and fresh perspective to everyday scenery.
Moleskine has therefore invited this unique artist to a special event to celebrate his artistry and imagination at the Moleskine store in Gae Aulenti in Milan, on Tuesday 17th of September. Join us and watch him sketch live on the myMoleskine wall.
Make sure not to miss out on this different and fun creative opportunity!
