After my morning routine, a (hopefully) productive day usually starts with writing a to-do list: of all the items on my long-term to-do list, what do I want to achieve that day? I sometimes connect this with my daily writing exercise – at least 750 words, each day! Writing and reading are two of my most important tools of the trade, so no day passes without reading (and writing about what I read), not to forget the tea I need as a source of energy.
At some point during the day, I usually fret about the work that’s still ahead, before reflecting, rationalising, and relaxing. And at the end of the day, video and computer games usually bring about absolut relaxation.
