Halfway through the year, I noticed that my Moleskine is always fuller during the semester breaks, due to paperwork I take care of during that time. I use the weekly planner to have a good overview what is happening in the next days. I also carry around a letter from my best friend he sent me too many years ago. It reminds me of the good things in life that i can count on: family and friends which is an important constant in my life, even if I feel like life is turbulent and my Moleskine is even more filled up with paperwork and other things that I have to take care of. I always put it into the pocket on the back, every single time(or year) I purchase a new Moleskine.
But after my work is done, I take the last days of the semester break for myself to go on vacation and take some rest before it starts all over again, like my Moleskine: it fills up with things, but in the end there’s always a good thing in the back pocket.
