Tieguanyin (tiě guān yīn) tea, a traditional Chinese famous tea, belongs to the green tea category and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. Originating in Xiping Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, it was discovered in 1723-1735. “Tieguanyin” is not only the name of the tea, but also the name of the variety of the tea tree. Tieguanyin tea is between green tea and black tea and belongs to the semi-fermented tea category. Fragrant, pure and strong taste, fragrant and lasting aroma, it has the reputation of “seven bubbles with lingering fragrance”.
