Supplementing her income as a side musician/backup singer and visual artist during the day, Linda Alcindor (affectionately dubbed by her coworkers as “Scarecrow” or “Crow” because of her style) works nights as a cab driver, hoping to find more inspiration in the passengers and places under the bright city lights
Inspired mostly by singer-songwriter-producer Linda Perry’s edgy, eclectic ’90’s fashion style and immense talent when she fronted the 4 Non-Blondes at the time
Imagined at the Metra LaSalle Street Station waiting for my morning train home, June 28.
Developed over lunch/work breaks overnight, a 6:30 AM black coffee at Big Shoulders Cafe, and breakfast at Wow Bao, June 29. Finished at home at 12:46 AM June 30.
